Kum Nye 30 Day Challenge

These Kum Nye Exercises are tremendously helpful. I am so grateful for taking on these wonderful challenges! What a terrific gift! These have contributed....more openness, freshness, and healing!  I was wonderfully surprised by the sense of deepening the inner connections of the Head/Heart/Navel/Throat chakras. Great to learn to focus & breathe into energies! Wow!

I would sincerely & highly recommend these practices for anyone searching for inner peace & growth! So tender & heartwarming! LA, Nanaimo, BC

This challenge is for anyone ready to deepen their purpose, and integrate body, mind and intention though a simple daily meditative and movement practice.

What is Kum Nye like?

Kum Nye feels like a really good massage, and it also feels wholesome and enriching. Kum refers to Presence and Nye refers to massage, or more accurately inner massage.Through a few simple gestures, we begin to sense an integration taking place that feels natural and expansive.

Why thirty days?

According to many, it takes thirty days to establish a new habit. This challenge is about deepening your purpose through practices that engage your body and intellect towards a new way of being within you, and in the world.

How much time will I need?

Reading the exercises, practicing, and writing a quick journal note will take about fifteen minutes. You can spend longer, for example on the weekend, if you wish. When you commit to the practice, you will find that you naturally want to spend more time practicing.

Are the exercises physically challenging?

The physical aspect of the practice is relatively uncomplicated, and is not the full focus of the practice. You can adjust the intensity of the exercises to suit yourself. There are a few exercises that might require caution if you have back or neck injuries.

What support will I have?

You may contact me at any time by email at info@movingpresence.center. There is a forum which contains useful ideas that will help enhance your practice. You can write in the forum so that others can benefit from your questions, or ask me directly. If its relevant, I will answer the question in the forum and you can stay anonymous.

TESTIMONIAL:  "I was intrigued by Kum Nye Yoga’s principle of inner massage and cultivating presence as it was a new form of yoga to me and was amazed how relaxed, open, and free I felt after the first class. I usually get antsy in classes that are longer than 45 minutes, however this 90 minute class seemed to create a flow where time no longer mattered and I was able to just be in the here and now.

Since then I’ve been to several of Don’s Kum Nye Yoga classes and would recommend it to anyone looking for a safe, nurturing and gentle practice leading to blissful ease. Don teaches from the heart and guides you in a way that suits your body’s needs, always tending to what would be most nurturing for body, mind, and soul."  J.R. Salt Spring Island, BC
